Lies in love may be likened to stale blood stains on a white piece of cloth.
The detergent (apologies) may remove surface dirt, but the clothe may never become as white as it was before entirely. The more and the longer the stains on the clothe, the less wearable it is, until the clothe is finally disposed of. That’s how lies in love work.
While constant apologies do take the mind off the lies, things often get to the point where apologies no longer cut it and then, love ends.
So, when love meets lies,
love dies; quickly.
