Finding your heart's beat one word at a time

1. Find a quiet place free from all distractions. Think through a list of things that make your heart beat and the emotions you feel. Make a list of them inserting the words, I feel at the start of each point e.g. I feel single and lonely, I feel ill and hurt etc.

2. Now write the opposites for each point on a second list, inserting the words I can be at the start of each point e.g. I can be loved and happy, I can be well and healed etc.

3. Now think of all you can be, repeating the points on the second list and replacing I can be with I will be and I am, as you take this exercise.
